I tried using Timeout on my phone, and I don’t know if it was just me or the site, but it kept jumping around because of the ads. The pages felt slow to load too, which was annoying when I was just trying to check events quickly. Not the best mobile experience.

I signed up because it was supposed to send useful local tips, but that’s really not what I got. The emails felt random and barely had anything relevant to me. It kind of felt like they promised one thing and delivered something totally different. I unsubscribed quickly.

I use timeout.com a lot when I’m trying to find somewhere to eat or see what’s happening around the city. Most of the time the info is spot on, like opening hours, addresses, and the general vibe of a place, which is really handy when I’m making plans last minute.

I’m giving it 4 stars because a few listings I’ve checked were out of date, or the event details had changed and hadn’t been updated yet. Whoever runs this should probably stay on top of that a bit better, but overall it’s still one of the better sites I look at before heading out.

I used a TimeOut voucher for a meal deal, and to be fair, it did save me a little bit, which was nice.

The offer looked a bit more impressive online than it actually felt once I checked the regular prices and all the extra bits. It was still okay, just not the amazing bargain I was expecting.
Anyway... booking was easy enough, and the voucher worked without any issues. I’d maybe use one again, but only if the deal genuinely looks worth it.

It did go through in the end, so that’s something, but the whole process felt less smooth than... I don’t know, it just should’ve been easier.

I used to find decent places through this, but lately the restaurant recommendations feel kind of random, and a lot of the bar listings seem outdated or just not that useful. It’s frustrating when you’re relying on it to make plans and end up wasting time. I’d expect some kind of credit or compensation for the poor experience.

Time Out does have some decent listings now and then, and I’ll still check it when I’m looking for something to do, but wow, the ads get in the way so much. One second I’m trying to read about a restaurant or an event, then there’s a popup, then a banner, then some video starts loading, and I kind of forget what I even clicked on.

Looked up a venue on Time Out. Info wasn’t clear. The address and opening hours didn’t line up with what I saw elsewhere. Had to waste time checking again. Frustrating. Not that helpful.

I was about to place an order, but the payment page just didn’t feel secure enough to me. Maybe it would’ve been fine, but I didn’t want to risk losing my money or dealing with a headache later, so I backed out. I don’t think I’ll be using it again

I usually jump on Time Out when I have no clue what to do over the weekend, and I’m genuinely grateful for how easy the filters make it. Being able to sort by date, area, price, and even the kind of vibe I’m in means I don’t have to scroll endlessly trying to find something that fits.
I’ve already found a few free events nearby that I definitely would’ve missed otherwise. The site can feel a little busy at times, but the filters save me so much time that it still feels really helpful...
